Describe your tattoo idea in full detail including the location on your body where you would like the tattoo.
After you hear back from Ricardo, email any images that you would like him to use as a reference. Please don’t send images of other tattoos or other artists work. All tattoos by Ricardo are Original Artwork.
Then, email a clear photo of the location on your body that you would like the tattoo preferably with a solid backdrop.
Before you set an appointment date or pay any deposits, we want to make sure the project is a good match for Ricardo and his artistic style.

At your first appointment, Ricardo will discuss and finalize your tattoo design. You can brainstorm with Ricardo at this point to see if anything needs to be improved or added to his design. This process usually takes around one to two hours and is included in the tattoo session’s time.

For larger projects, the design process might take a full session or more depending on how complex the design is. In these cases, the design time will be still be equal to regular session rates.

Larger projects such as full sleeves and back pieces may take anywhere from 8 – 12 sessions, sometimes more. All tattoos have different time frames depending on all kinds of variables such as: the size and detail of the tattoo, the amount of shading needed, skin tone and many other factors. Since tattoos are an artistic project, there is no way to guarantee the exact amount of time or how many sessions a specific tattoo will take upfront – every person and tattoo is unique.

Smaller tattoos that require a full session or less will be billed for the full day. Anything over the full day will be billed at Ricardo’s hourly rate.

Some appointments will have extended wait times depending on Ricardo’s schedule. If you wish to “jump ahead” then you can request to schedule for Ricardo’s next day off. Of course, any expedited appointments will be billed at a higher rate.

Prior to your appointment be sure to be well rested and avoid any alcohol consumption for several days before getting your tattoo. This will help prevent excessive bleeding and thus providing a smooth healing process.

To keep the working space sanitary and hair-free, we ask you to shave the area that is going to be tattooed in your home before coming to your appointment. If you do not feel like doing it or forget, Ricardo can do the shaving process for you for an additional $50 fee.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that helps with the tattooing process – if you’re getting a tattoo on your arm, a tank top or sleeveless t-shirt will be helpful – if you’re getting a tattoo on your leg – it’s better to wear shorts.

If you are late to an appointment, you must inform Ricardo via Phone or Email. If you are more than 1 hour late without any notification, your session will be canceled and there will be no refund of your deposit.

If you fail to show up for your appointment without notice – you lose your deposit and you will have to reschedule another appointment.
